Musselman Wholesale Foliage roots were planted in 1948 when Glenn Musselman opened a flower shop inside his parents barn on the family orchard. Two greenhouses were built to supply the flower shop with seasonal plants and cut flowers. In 1976, Dave Musselman joined his parents Glenn and Miriam in business and started Musselman Wholesale Foliage Inc. Greenhouses were added over years and today there is an acre and a half of greenhouses all located just outside of Cashtown, Pennsylvania.
While our roots are planted in south central Pennsylvania, the wholesale division has branched out to serve independent businesses in four states. We specialize is serving florists, independent garden centers and hardware stores, other greenhouses, and fundraising groups. A small retail division specializing in great plants at grower direct prices is open year round.
A wide range of plants are grown year round to meet the special needs of the independent retailer. High quality indoor blooming plants, Easter, spring and Mother’s Day, fall, and Christmas flowers are grown to help your business grow and succeed. We also are the region’s leading supplier of indoor foliage plants and dishgardens. Foliage plants are available in sizes ranging from small terrarium pots to large floor plants. Fresh Florida shipments are received weekly and all foliage plants are kept in greenhouses ensuring the best indoor plant quality around.
Today we continue to supply blooming and foliage plants to independent businesses under the leadership of Dave and two of his children, Aimee Rohrbach and Andy Musselman. Aimee coordinates sales, manages inventory, and updates availability. Andy manages the greenhouse production and coordinates deliveries. The third generation remains committed to the values set forth by our grandparents, Glenn and Miriam when they started their small flower shop 70 years ago.
